TIRE & RIM PROTECTION.

In any driving situation, your tires and rims are most susceptible to damage: Nails, glass, rocks, potholes – you can never be too sure of what lies ahead. For vehicle safety, damaged tires and rims must be immediately replaced or repaired. BMW Financial Services Tire and Rim Protection takes care of tire and rim repair or replacement costs. Work is completed by BMW Certified Technicians with authentic BMW parts. Just bring your vehicle to a BMW Retailer and they’ll begin the repair or replacement. APPEARANCE PROTECTION.

Windshield damage? Paint scratches? Small dents? Not a problem. With our Appearance Protection, you’ll be covered for most cosmetic damages. ANTI-THEFT PROTECTION.

Process of Returning Your Lease

  1. LEASE MATURITY CALL

  2. Between 120-180 days before your lease matures, you can expect a call from your BMW Retailer as a reminder that your lease maturity date is approaching. Take this opportunity to come into your BMW Retailer for a pre-inspection and to let them know if you are looking to keep your current BMW or if you are interested in a new BMW.

  3. INSPECTION CALL

  4. Approximately 75 days before your lease expires, you can expect a call from AutoVIN Canada, an independent inspection company, to arrange an appointment for a mandatory vehicle inspection. The inspection can be completed at a time and location which is convenient for you (e.g. your home or office).If you have not been contacted yet, please contact AutoVIN Canada directly to arrange an appointment for a vehicle inspection.

  5. VEHICLE INSPECTION

  6. After AutoVIN Canada evaluates the condition of your BMW, a Vehicle Inspection Report will be available online usually within 48 hours of the physical inspection, outlining the condition of your vehicle. Any damage or repairs identified on the report should be completed at an Authorized BMW Retailer or Certified Collision Repair Centre to avoid poor or improper repair charges at lease end. If your vehicle requires any repairs or maintenance please ensure it is completed prior to the lease maturity date, in order to avoid late return fees.

    Please note that if you have purchased BMW Financial Services Excess Wear & Use Protection with your BMW vehicle, this process has been simplified for you. Upon completion of your vehicle inspection by AutoVIN Canada, please refer to the Excess Wear & Use Protection Guidelines for more information.   7. RETURNING YOUR VEHICLE

  8. Your BMW vehicle must be returned to an authorized BMW Retailer by the lease maturity date. Please schedule your appointment with your Retailer in advance to review your vehicle’s condition and confirm all necessary maintenance and/or repairs have been made. Please ensure that both sets of keys, owner’s manual, matching BMW approved non-winter tires and BMW rims, BMW approved windshield with a BMW logo displayed on the glass, vehicle accessories (as applicable) and original copy of ownership (Province of Alberta only) are returned with the vehicle, as required. Once confirmed, you and your Retailer will sign a Vehicle Return Confirmation Form to complete the vehicle turn-in process. You may also settle any applicable lease-end charges with your BMW Retailer at this time.

    REMINDER: Please ensure that you take the time to delete all of your personal information from the iDrive system of your BMW (if applicable) prior to vehicle turn-in.

Accessing Your Financial Services:

Accessing your BMW Financial Services account has never been easier. My BMW Account is our secure BMW Financial Services platform which has a variety of self-service features and 24/7 resources to make managing your BMW’s financing easier than ever. You can use My BMW Account to access your BMW Financial Services information, review your financial documents, and much more, anytime, anywhere – all from your mobile device or computer.

How do I register for My BMW Account?

1. If you already have a BMW Connected Account, the same username and password can be used to log into My BMW Account. You are not required to re-register.

2. If you do not have a BMW Connected Account, you will be required to register by providing your first and last name, email address and password. In both cases, you will be required to provide the following information in order to access your BMW Financial Services Account(s):

  • Date of birth
  • VIN
  • Amount of your last payment
